Hi Kristian
I had a painful plantar faciitis injury and within 3 sessions with my trainer doing myofacial release on soleus, gastroc and posterior tibialis I was pain free. Treating the soleus and gastroc was more painful than the tibialis which goes to prove your theory of treating the muscles that control the foot, the calf muscles.

Hi Elaine, are you still in touch with her? If so get her to email me and I'll see what I can do to try and help out.. It will take time and loads of work since it's that bad, but I believe we can make a positive impact.

Get her to contact me.

I absolutely agree with you on this Kristian - if only one of my clients was aware of this several years ago when she left her plantar fasciitis untreated - now has 1cm (yes that's right cm) heel spurs and major tear in fascia. We tried TP tools etc. once I met her but the damage was already done! She is currently unable to train as even walking difficult.
